Zuri Resendiz

Zuri Resendiz's journey from Mexico City to the center of the American culinary conversation is a story of persistence, ambition, and craft. After arriving in the United States in 2002, he worked his way up from dishwasher to some of the country's most visible kitchens.

Mentored by acclaimed chef Elise Wiggins, Zuri sharpened his voice through roles at Panzano, Cattivella, and Shanahan's Steakhouse, while also making television appearances that expanded his reach. His latest venture, the Luchador Food Truck, reflects the bold, community-driven style that defines his work.

Within HRA, Zuri helps connect talent, events, and cultural storytelling. He brings energy, credibility, and a deep commitment to creating opportunities for Hispanic chefs to be seen and supported.
